Show NEXT THURSDAY OLD FOLKS DAY Arrangement has been made for i giving the "old folks" a day of rejoicing, rejoic-ing, Gunnison and Centerlield combining com-bining for the event. Invitations will be sent out this week and pro-Vision pro-Vision is being made to convey by automobiles to the Centerfleld opera j house all the honored guests of the occasion. The affair will take place on Thursday, Feb 17, commencing at 1 o'clock with the following program: Opening exercises. Welcome speech by C. A. Petersen. Song by Mines. Hansen and Neilson. Recitation by Lorena Peterson. Musi : by band. Song by Messrs. Jensen aud Christiansen. Chris-tiansen. Cornet solo by R. C. Swalberg. Recitation by Mrs. James Beck Solo by Bp. E. L. Swalberg. Reading by Lizzie Jensen. Musio by Solus Chrlstensen and Carrla To llestrup. Remarks bv Joseph Christenson. Song by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Higham Recitation by Mrs. Linda Bown. Song by James II. Mace. Music by the orchestra. Tills will be followed by banquet: and dancing. C. A. Petersen of Cen-1 terfield and J. Earl Pickett of Gunnison Gunni-son are chairmen of the combinad committees who are taking measures to make the occasion a "red letter day" for the old folks. |
