Show HIGH SCHOOL. No classes will meet in the high school on Friday, owing to " the Teachers' institute at Mt.Pleasant. The Shakespeare club was delightfully delight-fully entertained last Friday evening at the home of Lionel Sorenson. A dainty luncheon followed the reading of "Twelfth Night." Later in the evening cards were enjoyed by the guests. At the next meeting "Much Ado About Nothing"will be taken up Saturday evening, Lincoln's birthday, birth-day, the "misfit" party planned by the student body for the preceding week will take place. Everything in the "misfit" line will be in order for the evening. All kinds of games and "high jinks", are being planned for the event. A large audience was in attendance Tuesday evening for night school, and the work was taken up with much interest. The free-for-all discussions dis-cussions on current events should draw every man and woman interested interest-ed in such affairs into our ranks. The class in English will spend the next three or four sessions on the fundamentals funda-mentals of English grammar. All desiring instruction in this line are urged to attend. The gymnasium classes will give a matinee dance every Friday afternoon, after-noon, in Peterson's hall. Miss Russell and Miss Cooper will introduce some of the popular dances at these matinees. |
