Show Fayette. Dec. 2S Henry and Robert Bled have returned from having attended the funeral of their brother John, a former resident of Fayette, who died at his home in Cedar Fort a week ago. The Christmas program given at Fayette last Sunday evening was a delightful! affair. The crowning feature fea-ture was a Christmas tree well laden with gifts for the children. Merrlal Mellor, son of W. C Mellor, and Miss Lillle Watts of Axtell were married last Thursday at Salt Lake. W. C. Melfcr is Qonfined home nursing nurs-ing the Injuries he sustained as the result of a runaway in which he was mixed last Saturday. "The team he was driving shied from the light of an approaching automobile. The neckyoke gave way, when the horses became frantic, capsizing the buggy. Mr. Mellor got badly hurt by the mix-up mix-up and was rendered unconscious, i Mr. Clement, who happened along' with a car from Gunnison found Mellor Mel-lor in this uufortunate predicament and brought him home. The buggy top was demolished and the team finally broke loose, riddling the harness har-ness quite badly. |
