Snow was the first speaker. Referred to the opposition opposi-tion that has existed since the dedication of the Salt Lake Temple, Tem-ple, which seems to be in regard to the baptism for the dead. President Clawson said good ringing invited the spirit of God. Referred to the fall of our parents and the result that followed. Spoke of a circumstance cir-cumstance of a young lady who had been found on the streets of Ogden who had been led astray in that city. Warned parents to keep a good lookout for their children and know where they are at untimely un-timely hours. Gave some good and wise counsel to fathers and mothers, also to the young to be on their guard continually. Referred to the noble spirits that are in our midst. As a sample he told of the youth of Joseph Smith, the prophet; proph-et; the manifestations of the holy spirit that followed his labors. Jeremiah. Moses, Ezekiel and Isaiah and all the ancient prophets were noble spirits. Referred to the union of the sexes and how careful the young should be to use judgment in their selection for a married life; that they are mutually adapt ed and in good standing in the church.
