Show May success attend them. The Y. M. and Y. L. M. I. A. convention con-vention held here last Sunday was a most successful affair and was attended at-tended by many from all parts of Sanpete county. President Lewis Anderson and Counsellor Joseph Y. Jensen were present. Besides a goodly good-ly percentage of the board of niutu-als, niutu-als, there were present from the general gen-eral board from Salt Lake Elders Roy Snow, Mr. Nibley and Sister Higgs. CENTERFIELD ITEMS Special Correspondence Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Jensen were made happy on September 12, by the arrival of a bouncing baby boy. The happy event occurred at the home of its grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hans C. Jensen. Jesse Bardsley of Centerfield and Miss Minerva Robinson of Salt Lake City, were married at the Salt Lake temple September 12th. The bride .is the daughter of Professor D. H. Robinson, Rob-inson, formerly of Manti, where he was principal of the Manti High school for several years. The groom is well known in Centerfield and is one of the progressive young men of the Gunnison valley. The newly wedded couple spent last Friday with the parents of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bardsley, and Saturday morning they departed for Loa, where they will reside for the present, pres-ent, Mr. Bardsley having accepted a position with the Co-op. of that place. |
