Show MAIN STREET PROPERTY PURCHASED BY DUGGINS Another important real estate transaction, which shows the advances ad-vances that Gunnison is making, was closed the first days of this week when S. M. Duggins and his son, Julius, Jul-ius, signed the final papers which made them the owners of the old Perkins property at the corner of State and Center streets. The property prop-erty has a frontage of 105 feet on Main street and 125 feet deep. The amount involved in the deal is not made public at this time, but it i3 thought between $3,000 and $4,000 changed hands. J. M. Knighton, some three months ago, bought, the corner from the original owner, C. W. Perkins. Julius Duggins, the junior member of the firm, stated to a News man Wednesday that it would be the intention in-tention to at once improve the property prop-erty with a new building. Just as soon as final arrangements can be made work will be commences on a garage which will be equipped with all of the latest and modern conveniences. |
