Miss Lillian Johnson left for Salt Lake the early days of last week and will be absent for some time visiting with friends and relatives. H. S. Rnsow, the plumber, left for Monroe yesterday. Me expects to be absent a couple of weeks and while away will install several heating plants in the homes at the southern town. W. McDowell. Mrs. S. F. Overfelt and son, W. It. Overfelt, who have been the guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Overfelt for some time, left for Mc-Gill Mc-Gill Wednesday morning. They will locate permanently in the Nevada town where Mr. Overfelt has secured a lucrative position with one of the big copper companies. Mrs. Annie Madsen ofGreen River is the guest at the home of her mother, moth-er, Mrs. Annie Larson. Mrs. Madsen expects to remain in Gunnison two weeks or more. Ernest L. Swalberg, accompanied by Mrs. Swalberg, were travelers to Mt. Pleasant Tuesday of this week. They spent the day there as the guests of Mrs. Louise Johnson, mother moth-er of Mrs. Swalberg. Austin Kearns who has been confined con-fined to his home for the past three months as a result of a complication of ailments, was able to be out and cast his vote last Tuesday. Mr. Kearns is feeling much better and his many friends hope for a con. plete recovery soon. |
