Show High School Notes The school is pleased to acknowledge receipt from Hon. J. H. Mace of an illustrated magazine.descriptive of the Utah state capitol and a number of copies of the "two-house" prohibition bill. Mr. J. A. Alder talked on "The Force of Habit" before the regular student bod meeting Thursday. The regular six weeks' exams are being given the latter part of this week. Miss lone Bardsley, teacher in the grade school was a visitor Monday. Great interest is being taken in the gymnasim work. Misses Hale and Cooper entertained the girls Wednesday Wednes-day at an indoor track meet. "It is impossible to estimate the tried steel that lies behind the united countenances counte-nances of the freshmen ball players." So says their president. " Friday after school the girls enjoyed enjoy-ed a sleigh ride while the boys prepared pre-pared to play basket ball. The sophomores and juniors were matched against the freshman, the latter winning. win-ning. The girls then served a delicious delici-ous oyster tew to the students and faculty. |
