Show I LYCEUM COURSE IS HIGH CLASS j Through the efforts of several of the leading educators and business ! men of Gunnison, lovers of classical i music and splendid entertainment are to have a rare treat during the next four months in the coming engagements en-gagements of the Lyceum course, scheduled for November 10, January Janu-ary 22, February 4 and March 31st. Conrad Frlschknecht, principal of the Gunnison High school, has just received the datings for the several numbers and is now able to announce an-nounce the engagements. The first number of the Lyceum course and which is to he held at the Casino November 10, is the Paramount Para-mount Entertainers. This company, comprising Dorethea Sass, Howard F. Bloinger and Norma . Bo'sson, is highly recommended by critics and in the offering of their entertainment entertain-ment the audience is treated to rare solos and readings and dramatic sketches. On January 2 2, the Althea Players will appear here. This company, -comprised of five artists, will surely thrill all lovers of high class music. For February 4, the Woodland Siug-ers Siug-ers are billed. This number, like all of those from the Redpath Bureau, is among the very best and will sum prove one of the favorites that are scheduled for the Gunnison course. The last number, but far from the least, will be the appearance .of Brooks Fletcher, the famed dramatic dramat-ic orator. Mr. Fletcher's date is set for March 31, 1920. His National reputation has placed him among the foremost dramatic orators. His magnetism mag-netism is wonderful, he has a dominating domi-nating personality and in addition ta being a tragedian he is a great humorist hu-morist who makes his audience laugh uproariously. Gunnison citizens aro eager for high-class entertainment and upon the success of the foregoing entertainments enter-tainments depends the future of what is most desired. Make these entertainments enter-tainments a success and higher and better entertainments throughout . . will surely follow. |
