Show RANCHER III DELIRIUM FATALLY WOUNDS WIFE Montanan Fires Three Loads From Shotgun Into His Wife's Back While She Had Babe In Her Arms. Belgrade, Mont. During an attack of typhoid fever delirium, late Friday afternoon, Louis Seifert, a we41-known farmer, who lives six miles north of Belgrade, fired three loads from a repeating re-peating shotgun into his wife's back, and she lies at the point of death. A baby she carried in her arms while attempting to escape received a few shot in the arm and face, but is thought not seriously hurt. Mr. Seifert Sei-fert himself is in a very precarious condition and his recovery is doubtful. He has been, ill for several days. He suddenly became a raving maniac. "I am God," he said, "and I am in heaven and I may as well take the rest of you with me." He then began shooting. |
