Show Schooner Towed Into Port. New York. With only her foremast left standing above her decks, the former for-mer three-masted schooner Ann J. j Trainor of Philadelphia was towed Into New York harbor Friday after having been partly dismantled in a gale of wind off Atlantic City. The Trainor was discovered in distress off the Jersey coast by a crew of fishermen, fisher-men, who reported her plight to the wireless station in the vicinity of Egg harbor. Passing steamers were informed in-formed by wireless and two of them went to the assistance of the schooner. |
