Dr. Aaron Aarousohu, managing director of the Jewiah Agricultural Experiment station at Haifa, Palestine, Pales-tine, his accepted an invitation of the Canadian board of control of the International In-ternational Dry-farming congress to attend the seventh congress at Leth-bridge, Leth-bridge, October 21-26 next, aud to make an address on the dry-farming development in Turkey. Dr. Aarousohn also informs the executive ex-ecutive secretary-treasurer, John T. Burns, by letter, that, he will bring a large exhibit of the different products grown under dry-farming methods in Ithe new experiment fields which are now being conducted. by the Jewish Jew-ish Agricultural society in and about J. uialem, Dr, Aaronsohn is one of the most famous agronomists and botanists of the old world. From time to time the agricultural papers ' of the old world have been eulishteniug the English-speaking world with the fact that iu the rehabilitation of the lauds noted for prehistoric farming, dry-farmiug has been playing an important im-portant pirt, andhe natives are lcok-ing lcok-ing upon it as a discovery of one of the lost arts which made ' Egypt the great granary centuries ago.
