In the Future. Pausing at the entrance to tho church wherein the wedding ceremony is being conducted, we note an- airship air-ship tugging at its moorings, and, at j one side, concealed in the shrubbery, X a huge mortar or siege gun. Abont this latter are grouped a merry party of young folk, who are laughing gaily and are loading the weapon to the muzzle with old shoes and rice. "What are you doing?" we inquire, casually. "They're going away in that airship on their honeymoon trip," explain one of the joyous party. "Just when they clear the steeple of the church we are going toet them have the contents con-tents of this gun."
