Show EIGHT DIE BY DROWNING. Connecticut Scene of Deaths, All of Which Were Accidental. New Haven, Conn. Eight persons lost their lives by drowning in Connecticut Con-necticut water Sunday. In Stamford four young men, laborers, were drowned drown-ed together when they stepped into a deep hole In a lagoon. William Robichand, a bridegroom of a few days, was seized with cramps while swimming in the Shetucket river near Baltic. In New London, Percy Hewlett, aged 15, fell from a rowboat into the Thames river. Alice Raymond, 11 years old, waded into a deep hole in the Yantic river near Norwich. In Willimantic, Steni Vas. sick, aged 18, who could not swim, waded into eighteen feet of water in the Wlilllmantic river. |
