Show - AXTELL. June 11 Lehi Olson met with a painful accident Wednesday afternoon. after-noon. While engaged using a ditcher ditch-er on the extension canal a pole that, served for a brake to the implement became unfastened and with heavy force struck Mr. Olson; on the back. It is thought, however, the injury is not serious. The 87th birhday anniversary of Mrs. P.O. Hansen, formerly of Manti , was remembered by a number of her friends who gathered for the occasion at the home of Lehi Olson. A present pre-sent was given Mrs. Hansen and a nice lunch served to all. Martin Isaacson, county road commissioner, com-missioner, was here- yesterday and completed plans for improving that portion of the county road known as 'the swamp." Teams are to commence com-mence Work today. William Simonsen is erecting a new home on the farm formerly occupied oc-cupied by Mr. Bjerregaard. Mr., and Mrs. Carl Nielson are rejoicing re-joicing over the arrival of a baby girl. John Connell and Miss Grace Sorenson, Soren-son, daughter of M. P. Sorenson, wsre quietly married June 1st. Annie Mae, Laura, -Eva and Zina, daughters of Fred Newton of Ogden, a re guests at the home of Hans Olson. |
