| Show faculty forum by lee F gledhill this is the time of year for the annual school census it is required by law in utah that in late septem ber or october that there be a census of all children under the age of la 18 in emery county school district the census is viken by school faculty members perhaps your home has been visited already if not you can expect a visit soon the enumerator will ask the name of parents or guardians and then information re garding children in the home the purpose of the census is to provide an accounting of children and also to provide statistics about possible school needs in the future so more intelligent planning can be under I 1 taken school will not be in session on monday october due to the deer hunt holiday watch for the announcement of the P T A halloween party this community sponsored event for children and young people goes a long way towards making halloween a lot of fun without distractive actie atles all of us are rather anxious to get into the new school building we find a lot of satisfaction in the meantime of visiting there and watching progress on the work how ever not all of the visits of patrons and children have been beneficial once this summer a group of child ren tracked up a slab of concrete and necessitated the long and costly process of removing and replacing the floor in a whole classroom mon day afternoon someone removed three sets of keys from closets in the building this act is not only de laying the completion of work on the particular rooms in construe tion ton bt lt is reflecting on all of us maybe in these final stages of con st ruction we might speed t things h in g s a long by staying completely away from the building |
