Show The T.aeher.' Inatltnle. The Institute met at the First ward school house last Saturday. President D. C. Hubbard was in the chair. Remarks by the President. Said it was the duty of each teacher to attend these Institutes. F. VV. Fishburn presented the subject of grammar. "Geography," by James Perry of W'illard. Lecture on Southern Utah, by J. D. Call. Adjourned, to meet in the Second Sec-ond ward hall, Saturday morning, January 9tii. Those present were Pres. D. C. Hubbard, J. Chandler, Miss Reese, Miss Ingram, R. L. Fishburn, Jr., F. W. Fishburn, Jas. Peiry, J. D. Call, Mr. Olsen, T. C. Young. The attendance at this Institute was unusually slim, owing, no doubt, to the fact that most of the members looked for the usual official offi-cial publication of the time of the meeting in The Bugler, and not finding it there, they took it for granted the meeting had been postponed. post-poned. The failure to publish the notice was an oversight. |
