Show THE GREETERS. f The Greeters of Salt Lake are now an integral integ-ral part of the national association of hotel clerks, the Greeters of America. Charter 15 of the National organization was received by Secretary Secre-tary Vaughn A. Paul early this week, and was to have been acted upon by the local members of the Salt Lake order Thursday of this week. The Thursday meeting (had to be postponed, however, for a week on account of the heavy business at all of the hotels, and will be held Thursday evening, April 13th. A letter from R. H. Hawks, owner and editor of the organ of the Greeters of America, urges that the Greeters of Salt Lake name their delegates dele-gates immediately to the national convention of hotel clerks to be held in St. Louis the week of June 19th. Mr. Hawks states that with from 23 to 30 members, the Salt Lake Greeters are entitled en-titled to two delegates and that two alternatives should be named. The Greeters of America meet in St. Louis the week of June 19th. This date is two weeks after the H. M. H. B. A. Reunion in Boston, giving all a chance to attend both meetings, who care to, and also allowing a good many clerks to go to St. Louis who would have been kept home because of managers and proprietors going to Boston. |
