The opera house was crowded, last Saturda' night, by ladies and gentlemen anxious to hear the eloquent elo-quent Republican orator of Ogden, Frank J. Cannon, address the people. peo-ple. Mr. Cannon was unavoidably delayed. Ben E. Rich occupied the time until his arrival. Mr. Cannon's arrival was greeted with applause. He elicited many bursts of applause and shouts of laughter during his entertaining address of an hour's duration, on currency, tariff and the Tucker bill, principally. princi-pally. Among the gentlemen on the stage were seen: E. A. Box, J. T. Rich, W. H. Boothe, C. H. Davidson, Geo. L. Graehl, Jr., B. IT. Jones; George Facer, J. L. Edwards Ed-wards and Mayor Peter Lowe, of Willard, and L. II. Berg. |
