PKTITIONS. T. G. Young appeared and asked that material be furnished for road culvert at wash near Three Mile Creek. Action deferred until next sitting. Mr. Richards n ppeared and asked for permission to change fence near his place at ColUnslon. Granted. Petition of F. K. Roche, asking for permanent location of road between Point Lookout and Conor's Springs and as far as possible on section line, , read. Selectman IJaly and Blackburn Black-burn appointed to examine proposed pro-posed route. Also to examine work on Salt Creek and Mill ad bridges, which are reported completed and ready for acceptance. Petition read from Joseph Hatch-field Hatch-field and 18 others,- asking for change of road north of Plymouth. Referred to Selectmen Baty and Wilcox to report at next sitting. The same committee was instructed to look after and aid in the local ion of the Washakee, North Plymouth and Colli n ston roads. COMMITTEE REPORTS. Report of Williams case submitted. sub-mitted. He was taken under county charge May ora and uncharged un-charged on fith. Accepted. Committee appointed to inspect Rocky Dugway reported the road dangerous in places. On motion of Selectman lilack-burn, lilack-burn, it was unanimously agreed that hereafter no mileage be allowed allow-ed to any member of the Court while engaged in committee work, except just sufficient to pay actual expenses incurred for conveyances to and from the place where the work is performed. The Judge, Clerk and Attorney were appointed a committee to make rules governing le.ise of school lands. Mayor Jensen, in behalf of the city, asked for a franchise through Box Elder Canyon for thelayingof pipes for water system. Request granted upon condition that the road be not obstructed and that all damage that may occur to road by reason of the work of laying such pipes shall he repaired without with-out expense to county. Report of the committee on the surveyor's instrument was adopted and the amount of difference as re- ported, ordered paid. The Clerk was instructed to write to the County Court of Tooele regarding the boundary line between be-tween that county and Box Klder. |
