Tho mayor, as he H . noticed the sign, turned to the proprietor and . said: "Do you speak French?" "Not me," the H man replied, "United States is good enough for B me." "Well, then," said the mayor, 'why do you H have that inscription on the wall? That means H "French is spoken here'." "You don't mean it!" H exclaimed the hotel-keeper "Well, I'll be darn- H ed! A young chap sold that to me for 'God Bless H Our Home'." |
