Show What To Do With Mexico I IF MADERO does not soon bring order out of H the chaos Into which his country is plunged, I why would it not be well to propose what is I already being done in China? H There, Great Britain, the United States, Ja- I pan and some other powers have details from H their armies landed there to keep the peace and H steady the new government until 4t can stand on H its feet. H Mexico owes large amounts to Great Britain, H France, Germany and the United States, or at H least citizens of all those countries have made H heavy investments there. The United States H cannot assume the debts due the other powers, H neither can our country always stand in the way H of those countries insisting upon an adjustment. H Suppose the proposition wore made for the H three countries to intervene and stop the dls- H order unless a settlement can be made in the H near future? Would not that have the effect of JH quieting those revolutionists? 9 The news from Mexico is that trade is prost H trate and all tho industries halting in itheir H tracks. H It looks as though there would not be food H enough raised this year to feed the people. H Those malcontents down there should be H compelled to stop their foolishness and permit H the people to pick up their raveled industries H and to weave them back into fabrics of industry H and peace.
