Show HAPPENINGS AND WHEREABOUTS. Mrs. Albert 0. Seaman left Fort Douglas during dur-ing the week for San Francisco, where she will visit with friends until November 6th when the Fifteenth sails for the Philippines. Mrs. Jacob Moritz, accompanied by her mother, Mrs. Louisson, and her brother, Dr. rs Louisson, who have been her guests for some I time, has gone to Portland to visit with relatives I for a few weeks. Mrs. Oberndorfer accompanied the party. Mr. and Mrs. Jasper A. McCaskell are now at home at No. 8 Prescott Apartments, after having been at the Hotel Utah for some time. I Mrs. Kiser and Miss Jeanette Kiser left this I week for their home near Pasadena. They have I spent some time here as the guests of Mr. and I Mrs. F. L. Dodge and Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Kiser. Miss Charlotte Holmes is spending the early winter with her mother at her home in Westgate, near Los Angeles. Mrs. Reed Smoot and her daughters, Mrs. A. I S. Cardon and the Misses Anne and Delia Smoot, I and son Ernest, have left for Washington, D. C. I to spend the winter. They will be joined later by Senator Smoot. Senator and Mrs. Thomas Kearns will be in town during the early tVitumn, having returned from Santa Rosa on Thursday. I Mrs. B. A. M. Froiseth has gone to Portland, I Oregon, to visit with her son Bernard. " j Mrs. Claude Williams will leave early this month to visit with friends in the east. Mrs. Chaney of Chicago, who is the mother of Captain Bridges of Fort Douglas, will spend the next fortnight in town with her son and is at the I Hotel Utah. Dr. and Mrs. Samuel G. Paul have arrived in I , Salt Lake and are at home at 1214 East Fifth ' South Street. Dr. and Mrs. Paul were married in Ely on Wednesday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Selbach returned during the week from an extended eastern trip, having visited . all the large cities. Dr. and Mrs. J. G. Holland of Fort Douglas have moved into the house Avhich was occupied for a time by Lieutenant and Mrs. Emory S. Adams Ad-ams and are settled there for the time. Dr. Holland's Hol-land's mother and sister, Mrs. Holland and Miss Lucy Holland of Washington, D. C, are their guests. Mrs. Eugene Santschi of Fort Douglas is spending spend-ing a few days with relatives at Brigham City before be-fore the departure of the regiment for the Philippines. Philip-pines. Mrs. Fauntley M).
