Show HAPPENINGS AND WHEREABOUTS. Among those who entertained at luncheon at the Country club on Wednesday were Mrs. W. W. Armstrong, Mrs. Fred A. Hale and Miss Gertrude McGrath. A large party of friends accompanied Governor and Mrs. Wm. Spry to Heber on Monday, that being Governor's day at the annual encampment of the Utah National Guard. Mrs. W. H. Dickson and Mrs. Russell. G. Schulder are now in Seattle, after having spent the summer in Victoria, B. C. They will return in September by way of San Francisco, where they will be joined by Mr. Schulder. Mrs. Wesley E. King and Mrs. Groeg entertained enter-tained at a luncheon at the King home on Tuesday Tues-day in honor of Mrs. Fred Bull of San Franc.'sco and Mrs. Scott of Pasadena. Mrs. Carl R. Williams was the hostess at a series of delightful luncheons during the week in honor of Mrs. John Romein of Rochester. A large party of young people will leave for Brighton today to be gone until Monday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert F. Savage are now at home at 1485 Ninth East street. Dr. and Mrs. H. N. Mayo are spending a few weeks in Idaho. 'Mr. and Mrs. Sam Porter and Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. Stephens will leave today for a vacation vaca-tion in Idaho, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Naylor have returned from abroad and are at home with Mrs. A. W. McCune. |
