I ALL OVER UTAH. The Sevier Consolidated at Gold Mountain has let a contract for the construction of a power plant in Clear Creek canyon to develop electrical energy for mine and mill. The Signal Peak at Kimberley has encountered at 550 feet in its tunnel a broad vein averaging about $10 in value. Copper King group near Little Cottonwood canyon is about to install a 1,500-foot tramway to carry its product to the valley. Two copper bodies, one running 16 and the other 10 per cent, will furnish fur-nish freight for the tram. Ogden Consolidated Mining company will ship a car of iron ore from its claims in Ogden canyon can-yon as an experiment. The vein is four feet in width and carries 65 per cent of the black metal. The Utah mnic has supplied another $1,000 dividend to its stockholders. Almost by accident an unsuspected body of galena has been discovered in the Silver Glance at American Fork. It is above the hanging wall. Particulars are not yet obtainable. |
