For many years she bore her hard life not as a burden but as a cheerful duty which it was her pleasure to fulfill. ful-fill. So she toiled for fifty years, so cheerfully and without a plaint, she filled her mission here. When at last her health failed her, then her children chil-dren returned to her the care and affection she had lavished upon them, and by tender ministration made her forget her pain. Knowing that her death was but what in nature's course must be expected, still their distress is very great. Thousands of friends who knew the. patient woman in life deplore her death and sympathize deeply with her bereaved family. |
