Show B Resignation of Justice Bartch. I The retirement of Justice Bartch from the su- preme bench at this time is a great misfortune. For sixteen years he has toiled in that position with marked ability, with a faithfulness that never flagged and with an integrity that his bitterest bit-terest enemy concedes. It has been a life con-secration con-secration with him; he understands the full situation situa-tion better than any lawyer can possibly understand under-stand it until he has time to familiarize himself ' with it, and it is a misfortune that he did not finish fin-ish his term. Ho goes out of ofllco with the universal uni-versal respect of the bar and the people. |
