Show At the meeting of the county committee of the American party held at the office of J. E. Darmer Thursday afternoon, the members from the city and county were present and plans were discussed dis-cussed for the preliminary work in the fall campaign. cam-paign. J. E. TVrmer, who served so capably in the same capacity at the city election a year ago, was made chairman and S. P. Armstrong, secretary. secre-tary. Another committee will be named at the nominating nom-inating convention, but as is the custom there will probably be no change in the positions occupied occu-pied by Mr. Darmer and Mr. Armstrong, and the greater part of the work will bo well in hanl by then. The meeting was a most enthusiastic one, the amount of interest outside of the city Itself It-self was most gratifying and reports of the members mem-bers present bore every evidence of coming victory. |
