| Show H L MORRISON MEETS DEATH IN AUTO ACCIDENT accides NAT harold L morrison Morr lson age 21 whose home Is at street ogden died last night at 1145 at the pearse hospital in this city from injuries received shortly after 10 last evening when a dodge roadster in which he james barker and joe covey also ot of ogden were riding lett left the state highway north ot of willard and turned turtle pinning the men underneath james barker who is IS 19 years of age received a bad cut on the lett left hand and was considerably cut and bruised joe covey age 21 had his shoulder badly bruised and was cut across the wrist and bruised about the body the body of morrison was removed to the stohl undertaking parlors about three this morning where an examination disclosed a severe bruise in the chest over the heart and a bad bruise on the forehead it is thought his death was caused by internal hemorrhage he was screaming with pain in the stomach when brought to the hospital mr barker was removed early this morning from the hospital to the home of 0 his brother in law dan daniel e saunders aunders of this city and is reported to be getting along favorably mr covey is still at the hospital and is getting along nicely but is suffering considerable pain his mother is with him according to barker and covey the three young men were driving north from ogden with mr covey at the steering wheel As they reach raach ed the bend in the road about two miles north of willard something seemed to go wrong with the steering wheel and the auto shot off the road to the left and turned turtle they were driving at about thirty five miles an hour it is said immediately following the accident lucian dates bates leroy gull and lee woods three young men ot of willard who ho were passing in an auto came to the rescue and lifted the dodge from off the accident victims and later brought them to the pearse hospital in this city where they were ziven given attention by dr E A wey muller an investigation was made by sheriff john H zundel and deputy charles cheal who went to the scene of the accident shortly after it happened |
