Mr. Burley, then quite young, was an in-n in-n terested spectator at the banquet and remembers that the Hawaiian monarch was a fluent after-dinner after-dinner talker. "Mr. Burley has been a part of the growth of the railroad system of the Rocky Mountains. The ceremony was performed at 7:30 o'clock in the drawing room of the spacious Lockhart Lock-hart residence, 1105 North Nevada avenue, in the presence of a "number of relatives and near friends. I I The simple, though solemn words of the marriage mar-riage service were pronounced by the Rev. Dr. James B. Gregg, pastor of the First Congregational Congrega-tional church. The bride was"given in marriage by her father. As Professor A. C. Pearson played the wedding wed-ding march the bridal party entered. Mr. Pastorius Pas-torius was attended by his brother, Mr. Sharp-less Sharp-less Pastorius, his best man. Miss Elizabeth Lockhart, the bride's sister, maid of honor, wore a pretty gown of white brussels net over yellow taffeta and carried bridesmaid roses. The bride's gown, an exquisite creation in soft, rich, white silk, was much trimmed with Duchesse lace, the skirt being made with a yoke and panel of the lace. A distinguishing feature of the bodice was the full drooping puffed sleeves, and tucking, too, aided in the dressy, fluffy daintiness of the beautiful gown. The bridal bouquet was a shower one composed of lilies and tiny ribbons. Mr. and Mrs. Pastorius left late last night for a southern trip of four or five weeks' duration.
