Show A "GREATER LACE HOUSE." The simple elegance in the furnishing of the new departments at The Lace House, and the exquisite ex-quisite creations in these departments have set a new standard for the eyes of tasty dressers, who have visited that establishment the past week. The millinery department is in the back part ot the store, where the cloak and suit department was formerly. It is a dream in white and gold and beautiful glass, set off with a luxurious carpet of deep red, all in keeping with the beautiful milinery which it sets off. The Parisian ideas displayed in all the spring and summer styles, are simply captivating, and the variety to choose from is much too wide for quick decision. Mme. Bernice Cater is in charge of the department. de-partment. On the second floor, opened to the public for the first time, the cloak and suit department now has the room which increased business demanded, demand-ed, and a large and beautiful room it is. Parquet flooring, and rich green Wiltons in the same pattern as the red in the millinery department, depart-ment, moke the ground work, and the pillars, and cases finished in fret work and art glass, are striking strik-ing in white and gold. An abundance of light from skylights and windows makes this department doubly attractive. Alteration iooms are placed to the right of the large room, and on the left is a darkened room, used for the display of handsome evening gowns. In addition, there are five fitting rooms. Miss Selma Sandberg is in charge of this department. Between the dark room and the alteration rooms, is a sheet music department, a new departure de-parture for this enterprising house. The vocal and instrumental hits of the day ; will be kept constantly in stock, with an accomplished accom-plished musician on hand to "try" the airs for you. The cloak and suit department is complete in o the very latest styles and designs, and under the capable management of L. G. and N. A. Ransohoff will continue to grow in prosperity and the esti- , mation of the people of this city. |
