We have the laugh on him now in Utah whenever he shows his head at Lagoon. You might travel from one end of this great land to the other and yet you couldn't find a spot which looked less like the "arid belt" than this. There are thirty-five acres in this resort. re-sort. Fifteen of them are taken up by a lake. The lake has boats on it and fish in it. You can row the boats and catch the fish. There are about five acres of flowers. Roses, cacti, pinks, geraniums gera-niums and a hundred other kinds. There is a dancing pavilion, good music, trees furnishing shade, vine-covered arbors and walks. Then, almost al-most everything you could ask for to amuse yourself. your-self. The ride out there is fifteen miles through one of the prettiest valleys you ever saw. It costs 25 cents, and it's worth ten times as much. No stranger ought to leave Utah without seeing this place. It's the "prettiest tpot in Utah" sure. |
