Show By Marva Fletcher 679-8521 A lovely LDS Relief Society Birthday Party was held on Wednesday evening at the Cultural Hall with many attending. attend-ing. The ladies were told to bring their partners. I heard it was a real success. The entertainment enter-tainment was furnished by the girls who ran for homecoming queen. They performed their talent entries and did very well. Some of the girls involved in drill team practice could not be there. I regret that I missed reporting report-ing Margaret Braithwaite's 80th birthday. It was on Feb. 27. She was honored with a family dinner din-ner party, complete with birthday birth-day cake and ice cream. Those present were her sister La Vera Moss, brother Edgar Dunham, Anna Dunham and Joseph J. Dunham, and daughter Lace Walker. We are all happy that Margaret's health is improving and she is now able to walk with the help of a walker. She also goes to lunch with the Senior Citizens, which she really enjoys. Kay Dunham took her mother moth-er Louise Mangum to Cedar City for more tests and the doctor doc-tor said everything is okay. Also, their daughters Katie and Kami of Salt Lake City came, along with Richard and Andrea Willis and their three daughters from Monroe; Joe and Rae Hughes went from here to attend the farewell, also. They had lunch and visited before returning home. Bob and Mira Loy Ott received a surprise honor when they picked up their mail and discovered they were featured in a color photo on the front of the magazine "Western Farmer and Stockman," in the March 2002 issue. There was a write-up entitled "A Face On The Monument: Ranchers Drive To Retain Lifestyle On The Grand Staircase-Escalante." by Tom Daines. Vaughn Twitchell returned from St. George Friday after spending several weeks doing LDS temple work, but he received a call that a temple cottage cot-tage was available for this week, so he went back down.
