We will be happy when retirement time comes and they can be a permanent part of the Cannonville LDS Ward family. Coming from their home in St. George to spend the weekend with their parents Alma and Anita Fletcher were their daughters Pauline Hansen and Erica Racker. And they brought a couple of their children with them. They came for a surprise birthday for Alma and prepared a special dinner for the occasion. oc-casion. In Cannonville LDS Ward Sacrament Sac-rament meeting on Sunday, Charlee Ott was awarded her Gospel in Action Ac-tion Award. Youth speakers were Lace Walker and Kolter Ott. Phillips Phil-lips Broassard, who accompanied Stake High Council representative Earl Slack, spoke next, followed by Slack. They all gave good talks. The theme for the high council was "The Importance of Daily Scripture . V Study." " Minok Dunham spent a week in Kanab with her daughter, Fran Barlow Bar-low and her children. He was baptized into the LDS Church and last fall they, along with most of their family went through the St. George Temple. Tem-ple. He is now the Ward Mission Leader in his home ward. Howard and Dorothy Leavitt spent a day in Cedar City for medical medi-cal appointments and shopping. Mae Twitchell and daughter Ar-jean Ar-jean Twitchell went to Cedar City and spent one day visiting family members Doug and Tammy Twitchell and family and Karl and Lori Munford and family. |
