Show Antimony Hews By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Walter Luce from Waterbury, Conn, and Vermont was here at the Rockin R for a few days and attended at-tended church at the Antimony LDS Ward on Sunday. Shirley Ann Gleave Lawyer came to attend Antimony LDS Ward on Sunday as she was visiting with Mary Dell Lingdren. She and Adrene Gleaves both attended school in Cedar City many years ago and she wondered if anyone remembered re-membered Adrene. We all knew and loved Adrene. Shirley Lawyer now lives in Salt Lake City. Neil Ipson was taken to Garfield Memorial Hospital in the night last week. He had pneumonia and had passed out and as he fell he broke his ankle. He will be able to come home on Thursday and his son Be-van Be-van is here and will bring him home and stay with him until Gail can come from Arizona next week. Judy Fielding had knee surgery in Cedar City on Monday and her daughters brought her home on Tuesday. They are staying here to take care of her. (See ANTIMONY on page 6-A) ANTIMONY From Page 2-A George and Bernice Jolley attended at-tended the missionary meeting in Richfield for their grandson, David Winget, son of the former Marlyn Jolley. He will be going to Texas. The Jerry Savage family, Jerry, Janene, Tracy and Jessica were the speakers at Antimony LDS Sacrament Sacra-ment meeting on Sunday. Two of Jerry's granddaughters from Cir-cleville Cir-cleville came to hear their grandparents grandpar-ents and family speak. Marcus Gleave has been quite ill and has been in the hospital in Panguitch with pneumonia but is doing better now and is back in the Care Center. McKay Allen attended the honors hon-ors program at Southern Utah University Uni-versity in Cedar Ci'ty Feb. 16-17. |
