Show Iknrizvill? News By Wynona Henderson 679-8560 Franklin, Gayle, Wanda and Ryan Ry-an Moore attended the funeral of Erica Johnson of Layton. She was Gayle's cousin. Ryan Moore earned his Bear rank in Cub Scouts. The posterity of Harvey and Roxie Chynoweth held a family reunion. re-union. It was hosted by Roxanna and Golden Johnson with a large crowd in attendance at the town park. Our town was shocked and saddened at the news of Savannah Chynoweth's deaths. Our love and sympathy to dad Brett Chynoweth and mom Sherel Clark and all of the extended family. Tyson Piatt, Wade Moss, Kevin Clarke and Joseph Rose went on an a Boy Scout camping trip to Pine Lake with their leaders Terry Clarke and Cliff Mathews. Sandy and Gary Johnson attended the St. George LDS temple with their daughter Sarah where she received her endowments prior to her marriage. Helen Willis is doing nicely since her surgery. Her daughter and son-in-law Marie and Larry Head of Pocatello, Ida.; daughter JoAnn Coppel of Reno. Nev.; daughter and son-in-law Peggy and Craig Ober-hansli Ober-hansli of Hawthorne, Nev.; and daughter and son-in-law Carla and (See HENRIEVILLE on page 4-A) HENRIEVLLLE From Page 2-A Martin Ramsay of Tropic were all in Salt Lake City to lend support while Helen was in LDS Hospital there. Carla Ramsay and Larry Head took Bob Willis to the Veterans Hospital there for his appointment. Thank goodness for families. Barbara Jaggar, Escalante, visited visi-ted her mom Rae Smith, then Rae went to Escalante to see son and daughter-in-law Jim and Margo Smith and family and Barbara and Lance Jaggar and family. Lisa Chynoweth received word that her mother Lee Wyatt is very ill. She and husband Shawn and family left for Marshall, Texas, on Wednesday. Her mother passed away on Sunday. Her funeral was held on Wednesday. Our condolences condo-lences to their family. The Henrieville LDS Ward had 16 girls attend the stake girls camp. The girls enjoyed the activities and especially Brent Yorgason, noted author. Bishop Ernie Henderson and wife Wynona and Robert and Louise Patterson went along as chaperones. Their leaders were Lori Piatt, Cindy Johnson and Ilda Vera. The Ernie Hendersons took their granddaughter Dani DiSera back to Magna after a two-week visit. Trish and Brian Dixon had brought her down. We finally have had a few nice rains here, with some hail coming down at Rubys Inn. The Ken Piatt family presented the LDS sacrament meeting program pro-gram with each member giving talks and several special musical numbers. The Plat Family Singers also presented the special music at the Escalante Stake Young Women's Wom-en's Camp held at Tropic Reservoir. Reser-voir. Milton Rose of Pleasant Grove was here visiting family. Colette and Chris Mathews will be home for much longer periods now. Chris is very good in his wheelchair and can even go down the church stairs. ' Visitors at the home of Irving and Viola Rose were Janice and Tom Cline of South Jordan. Sarah Rose had her sister Rosa of Moab for a recent visit. Thor Johnson took LaRona Callahan Cal-lahan to Las Vegas to meet a plane where she flew to Denver, Colo., to be with her mother Golda Mclnelly. Golda went with Ramona for a short visit and unfortunately fell and has not been too good. Shanna Goulding of St. George was here visiting Ralph and Lael Chynoweth. Mike Goulding and family of Florida were here for an extended visit. Jane Rissoni was here from California and all of them got to meet little eight-month-old Tyler for the first time. Shanna was here also for the funeral for Savannah Chynoweth. Many friends and family of the Chyn-oweths Chyn-oweths were here for support. Triessa Hepworth of Cedar City came for the bridal shower for Sarah Johnson. Pre-school registration for 4-year-olds will be held at the Bryce Valley Elementary School on Tuesday, Tues-day, Aug. 22 at 4 p.m.. |
