Show mmnonv By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Afton and Carol Blood went to Cedar City last Thursday. Mona Rae Twitchell was in Cedar City for the LDS missionary mission-ary report of Michael Twitchell, son of the Robert Twitchells. He served in Burningham, England and really enjoyed the area. Daughter Sharon Twitchell took her mother, Mona Rae back up north with her for a visit and she came back home on Thursday. The Antimony LDS Ward Visiting Teachers Conference was held on Oct. 22 and the Panguitch LDS Stake Relief Society officers who visited here were Marilyn Morgan, Pam Robinson and Diane Fullmer. The Antimony Halloween Party will be held at 6 p.m. on Oct. 28 with a dinner served to everyone and we will have spooks and goblins too. Attending LDS meetings on Sunday were several former residents res-idents from Antimony. The Eric Jolleys of Eagle Mountain; Kenneth and Kathy Riddle and sons, David, Greg, Doug and Dan of Enoch; Greg and Cyndie Black and family; Robin Brown of California and Scott and Tracy Allen Peterson and children chil-dren of Provo. Speakers in LDS Sacrament meeting were Michael Heaps, LDS Stake Young Mens president presi-dent and Stake High Councilman Eric Patrick. Released from his Primary office as music leader was Kory Slater. Several of those involved in music from here have been practicing with Charlene Daltpn in Circleville prior to going to LDS Stake Conference to sing in the stake choir. Burns Black took wife, Mona to the doctor on Friday with an infection in her throat. Betty Wiley met her daughter, Sally East in Richfield on Wednesday afternoon for a visit before Sally had evening meetings meet-ings in Salina. ' Bill and Jane Wiley, Van and Betty Wiley and Marcia ' Tobiasson traveled to Santa Clara to attend a funeral for the wife of George Manson. Charnell Manson has taught music wherever they have lived and played piano and organ. She has always been very talent- ' ed with her music. George has spent lots of time here with Bill ' and we hope he will continue to ' come here often. Many will remember George's mother as aunt Virginia to the Hulda Thomas family of Circleville. Ned and Coy Burr are waiting wait-ing for word on surgery for a great grandbaby who is waiting for a heart replacement. The cattlemen are still riding every day in the valley gathering cattle. What can we do with all these beautiful leaves which continue to fall everywhere? Beth Gleave was in Garfield Memorial Hospital in Panguitch with pneumonia but is back home and feeling much better. Georgio Guy of Downey, Calif, is back visiting here in the valley and doing a little hunting. He is always welcome. Tom King and the water meter tester have been around to each meter checking for leaks in the line. Nancy Prather reports Gus Prather is recovering very well from his heart surgery. |
