Show MJl'JS By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Our Thanksgiving Dinner for the whole community was very well attended. Everyone in Antimony LDS Ward was involved and many visitors came to enjoy the good food and had fun just visiting with everyone. every-one. The Doug Gottfredsons, who have a summer home here, came for the Thanksgiving holiday and their daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Kerry Cox and two children, Calvin 6 and Andrew 3, came from West Jordan to spend Thanksgiving with their parents. They came to the ward dinner at the cultural hall and had a good visit. Others noticed were Harold and Mary Holloway of Las Vegas who are here visiting with their daughter, Sandi Daly. Roger and Beverly Westwood came from Circleville. Their son, Tim Westwood, bishop of the Antimony LDS Ward, had a birthday on Monday, so everyone every-one sang "Happy Birthday" to him. Hope no one was missed here. As I check, it seems everyone is either going somewhere for dinner or will be having a houseful house-ful at their own home. I know I will need extra tables for our crowd who come for dinner and to get Christmas trees. Such fun for little kids and all. Eugene and Valeria King and some of the Susan King Peterson family flew back to Branson, Missouri. Eugene and Valeria were going on to their daughter Heidi's, for Thanksgiving in Arkansas. There was an ambulance call here in Antimony for a hunter who jumped out to shoot at a deer and apparently had either a heart attack or something that made him pass out suddenly. Didn't get any names. We now have three working in Wayne County at the Aspen Youth Center, Beverly Hansen, Layne Blood and Jan Fox. Still no snow and it is getting very serious as our mountains need snow and soon if we are to have water and feed on the mountains and irrigation storage in the reservoirs for irrigation down river. |
