Show USGMMJ7Z nOUS By Marlene Haws 826-4859 Thanksgiving Day has come and gone and we are still having shirtsleeve weather in Escalante! Maybe we will have a white Christmas. Pat and Bobbi Coughlin spent an early Thanksgiving in St. George. Bobbi's two sisters, one from Colorado and one from California, met them there and they all had Thanksgiving dinner at the home of Darren Coughlin. They were also joined by Trisha Coughlin, her son Brandon, Darren's girlfriend, Kasi, and Bobbi's father. They also rolled a celebration in for Pat who was having a birthday. He isn't old enough to tell you just how old he is yet! But happy birthday Pat! Rolain Alvey went to Kanab to visit LaDell and Karen Alvey. Dana Alvey, Cedar City, met them in St. George and they all went to Mesquite, Nev. to attend the Don Williams show. They saw Dueane and Sherian Dutton and Virginia Sanford, who had also attended the show. MaeVonn Taylor had 3 1 fam- ily members for Thanksgiving dinner at her house: Her mom, Melba Brooks was here from Panguitch, Darrell Alvey came from Phoenix, his daughter, Nadine Woolsey brought her family from Richfield; Jerry and Monica Taylor, Alpine; Jimmy and Ethel Taylor, Salt Lake City; Louie and Janalee Bernardo had Heath and Tiffany Spencer and Heather Spencer all of St. George; Dean and Janis Gledhill had daughters, Rachelle, St. George and Crissy and David Owens, Elko, Nev. and EvaDean Liston also joined them for dinner. Melvin and Judy Brooks had Judy's mom and dad, Melvin " and Marge Costanzo of Kanab visit. Russell Brooks came from Cedar City to spend the weekend week-end with his mom and dad, Jay and Derlynne Brooks. Theron and Dixie Mitchell had Kevin and Tracy Robison arid boys from Ely, Nev. Clorene Vidrine had Marty and Debbie Vidrine, Riverton, and Greg and Rachel Vidrine, (See ESCALANTE on pg 4A) District Court From Front Page Mountain Green, and their families. fami-lies. Home for the holiday at Betty R. Alvey's were the families of Johnny and Stacey Alvey, Palmdale, Calif.; Jay and Linda Stokes, Riverton and Tony Alvey, Wamsutter, Wyo. Arnold and Deon Alvey went to Las Vegas, Nev., to eat turkey with their daughters and families. fami-lies. David and Raylene Whitefield, Andy and Denise Dube; and Brand and Janeen Duncan, Loa, were there also. Rose Bailey spent a little time in the Garfield Memorial Hospital with pneumonia. Did McKay cook the turkey this year, Rose? Curtis and Marsha Koyle had a few more mouths to feed this Thanksgiving. They just got their three little children from Russia. |
