Show Panguitch By Mamie Talbot 435-676-8084 Bitter cold this past week has kept most folks at home and those working outside certainly had our sympathy. The Purple Sage Motel's new office is all enclosed and workers have been getting the roofing finished fin-ished on it. . , Faye Worthen's daughter Fay-ann Fay-ann Christiansen and granddaughter Janee Neilsen came from Kanab just before Christmas and painted a beautiful scene on her big front window, both inside and out. Faye spent Christmas in Kanab where Fayann's family have just moved from Phoenix. Her son Jim Worthen and wife Renae and their son Travis and family came from Pocatello, Ida, to spend the holidays with them. They had not been down for three years so it was great to have them home. Our dear Panguitch native Merle Owens Braithwaite died in Arizona. She was a member of the class of 1940 at Panguitch High School. Her brothers Boyd, Ned, Gene, and Glen and their wives attended the funeral services last week. She was buried in Manti. Merle was a beloved be-loved friend and we extend our sympathy and love to all her family. fam-ily. Bud Bowman passed away in Parowan this past week. Bud and his wife Roma own the historic Jim Miller home. They moved here at least 20 years ago. Roma, we love you and sympathize with you and your family. |
