Show I .' T t - f k f9 I By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Kay Jolley has been here at his house during the holidays. Burns and Mona Black spent the holidays up north with Lance and Michelle, Greg and Cindy and daughters Diane and Camille, Connie, Con-nie, Rodney and their families. Visiting with Van and Bill and here to hunt elk were Robert Puffor and Vaughn Judd, who had worked on Bill's house. They had truck trouble on the mountain so they called Kanab and their friend and bishop, Robert Johnson, came the next morning with truck and trailer. As he had a license too, they hunted some more but all went home with no luck on the hunt. Also here for a short visit before she flies back to Shreveport, Louisiana Lou-isiana is Michelle Huntsman and daughter, Chelsey. Marcus Gleave is in the hospital in Panguitch and seems to be doing somewhat better. He has his good days and some not so good. Winners in the Christmas lighting light-ing contest were Kasey King, 1st place; Hal and Athalia Jensen, 2nd place and Creston and Michelle Black, 3rd place. Honorable mentions men-tions went to Antimony Merc, Phil Allen and Tim Tennis. Marge Stewart tells me that she and Warner were in California during dur-ing the holidays and attended a New Years Party where youngest son Jim and Jennifer Van Buren of Murietta, Calif, were married. The wedding coming in the midst of the party was a complete surprise. The theme of the party was "Back to the 1800's." It was a costume party and the costumes were beautiful long dresses and large hats, etc. The men were in 1800 period suits with derby hats, even. |
