Show By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Speakers in Antimony LDS Sacrament meeting on Sunday, Feb. 17, representing the Stake Relief Society was Sue Anne of Marysvale and Jon Torgerson of Panguitch representing the High Council. At the Regional Speech Meet McKay and Bryce Allen and Kwin Willis won in extemporaneous extempora-neous and debate, so they will get to go to state competition. McKay Allen made Academic All State in 1A Basketball and will be honored at that state meet in March. Randy and Kathy Gould and family and Nathan and Sherrie Gould and son, all of Nephi, spent the weekend with Hal and Athalia Jensen. Scott Gleave was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Panguitch on Monday with breathing problems but is doing better. Beau Ricketts, son of Tom and Charla Ricketts, grandson of Marcia Tobiasson, was named Most Valuable Player at the President's Day weekend Hockey Tournament held in Las Vegas. Beau's team won the championship. The son of Gaylan Rowan and family was here on the weekend at their summer home which was the original home of Charlie and Lyle Rowan, old-timers old-timers from many years ago. If some of us look back, we will remember the deep voice of the radio announcer for KSL, "This is Gaylan Rowan." Scott Gleave is reported to be doing better and will probably be able to come home soon. This week seems to be the lull after the Olympics! Those . who didn't go up north to see ; at1 some of the games stayed home and enjoyed it on TV. The colors, col-ors, lights and everything were beautiful to see while we stayed warm by the fireside, which wasn't a bad idea considering the cold temperatures up north. Jane Wiley flew home on Sunday from her brother John's home in Pennsylvania and her mother is still in the hospital there with pneumonia. Jane and Beverly Frederick with two nieces, Hillary Withers and baby of Richfield and Wendy of Las Vegas,'Nev., traveled together to Johns and everyone of them came down with the same bug. They think they probably got it in Las Vegas. Kayla Frederick flew in from Germany to visi! with them. John reports that he will bring Beverly to his home this weekend and put her on a direct flight to Las Vegas on Antimony From Page 2-A Monday. Jane Wiley will meet her and take her to Overton for a few days and then bring her mother here for awhile. Valeen Roberts has been in Phoenix visiting with her two children, Amberlee and Gannon, who both work there. Spending a week here at the Rockin' R were two from England. There were a few others oth-ers there but I couldn't find out which country they came from. Bill Wiley has been building on his shop for a day or two and hopes to get it up soon, as he needs it. Bud Fielding had his big trailer trail-er here loading the big piece of equipment he had stored here, taking it to Enoch, I think. Kyle Willis has received his mission call and will be going to the Venezuela LDS Mission. He is a son of Kaymar and Mary Jean Willis. He will go to the Missionary Training Center in Provo on May 15.
