Denise was a speaker and Chris Matthews received re-ceived a two year certificate. Visitors at Ernie and Wynona Henderson's were Debra and Harold Monson of St. George. They were here to place plaques on some of their ancestor's head stones who came across the plains. This was a Sons of Pioneers Faith In Every Footstep project. Theresa Rose of West Valley City and Milton Rose of Pleasant Grove, Millie Chidester of Richfield Rich-field and Jeanne Payne of Cedar City spent the weekend visiting their mother Delpha Rose and helping help-ing her. They were also planning for an upcoming reunion and party to help Delpha celebrate 80 years. They also visited Ken and Artoise Piatt, Cliff and Collette Mathews, and Daniel and Sarah Rose. Word was received here that Melvin Quilter is in a rehabilitation center in Bountiful. We hope he has a quick recovery. Ernie Henderson took the senior citizens van to Panguitch on Thursday Thurs-day and Escalante on Friday for Care and Share. Rae Smith was pleasantly surprised sur-prised when her brother Brad and wife Wanda Woolsey of Morgan stopped by on their way to Escalante. Esca-lante. Her daughter Heather came and brought her three sons Brendon, Cameron and Trey on Tuesday for a fun day. Helen and Bob Willis were in Salt Lake City at the Veterans Hospital for appointments. It was a fast trip, but they got good reports. re-ports. Russell LeFevre went to Idaho and brought his son Zachary to the Missionary Training Center in Provo. He will be serving in the Santa Rosa, Calif. LDS mission. Russell and wife Lyllian LeFevre Le-Fevre went to Binton City, Wash, for the .graduation for Amanda LeFevre Le-Fevre then to Kearns for the gradua- , j tion of Candace Coons, Lyllian's granddaughter at the "E" center. , Beverly Thompson made two trips to Las Vegas, Nev. to help tend her grandchildren and she really loves that. Gary and Sandy Johnson enjoyed en-joyed all of their family homes for daughter Esther's graduation. They visited son Jed and daughter Rachael from Provo, Becon and Braxton from Minersville, Sarah and Brady Bradshaw of Beaver, Ruth and Brandy Carter of Midvale. |
