Show By Wynona Henderson 679-8560 If you didn't get out to see the beautiful fall colors yet, it is almost al-most too late. The trees on U.S. 89 along the river just before the Roller Mill Hill have been arrayed in brilliant golds and browns. Visitors at Berthene Griffins home were Lola Tippetts of Hurricane Hurri-cane and Lola's sisters-in-law, Iva Reeve and Joy Smith. Visitors at the Delpha Rose home were Theron and Marilyn Rose of West. Valley City, Dave and Jeannie Payne of Cedar City, Collin and Laurie Rose and family of Annabella, and Kerry Rose and two children of Sandy. They also visited Cliff and Collette Mathews, Daniel and Sarah Rose and other family members here. Sarah Rose had her sister, Mary Lyn Christensen of Eagle Mountain here for a visit. Sarah reports that the cub scouts had a pack meeting where Anthony Rose received his Wolf badge and Ryan Moore, Mike Barker and Landon Piatt each earned their activity pins. On Sunday, Ernie Henderson and wife Wynona went to Magna to visit their daughter, Trish and husband, hus-band, Brian Dixon and Dani where they helped Nikki celebrate her ninth birthday. On Monday, they stopped at Utah Valley Hospital to visit JoAnne Goulding who was a patient there. She had been in Dixie Regional Medical Center for a few days but has since been transferred trans-ferred to Garfield Memorial Hospi tal in Panguitch. Her husband, Ken, spent a few days in Provo with her. Irving Rose returned to visit and attend church on Sunday. We hope he and Viola will return often. We miss them. Teora Willis was home from St. George where she works in the LDS temple there. Rae Smith spent one day in Escalante Es-calante visiting her families and friends there. Lula Moore and family, Rae Smith, Katie Morton and children, Frankie and Gayle Moore and boys and Golden and Roxanna Johnson all took the horse and buggy ride guided by Bob Ott out to Ko-dachrome. Ko-dachrome. They had a wonderful time. Ronald and Patsy Clark and Mary Carol Izatt were visitors at the Eugene Quilter home. They had" come for their aunt Ruby Moore's funeral. Also here for the funeral were Sheron Drake and son of Pleasant Grove; Camille Anderson Ander-son and son of Kaysville and Gene Quilter of Escalante. Also, from Snohomish, Wash., were Layton Moore and wife Sherrie; Matthew and Jerry Moore and families; Jason and Ruth Moore and family; Sarah Stephenson and daughters Lauren and Kathryn. From Escalante, were Weldon and Marie Porter, Jeris and Bonnie Liles, Jim and Connie Liles of Salt Lake City and LaMar Stoker of Henderson, Nev. Also, Bill McAllister of Inkom. Coleen Orton, LaVen-da LaVen-da Moore and Lige Moore, Lorene Hepworth and friends of Panguitch also attended. |
