Show Antimony tl:v;s By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Fall is coming fast! The trees are shedding their beautiful leaves and showing such brilliant and varied colors. I picked up a few maple leaves and couldn't believe how fall paints each leaf differently. the Tom and Charla Ricketts family were here for the weekend' and to have their new baby boy blessed and named. Lots of visiting by everyone at the lunch served at the town park afterwards. His name will be Blade Thomas Ricketts. Janella Roach, Mary Jean Willis' Wil-lis' sister and Scott Willis were married Sept. 30 in Springville. KayMar and Mary Jean attended the happy event. Julia Allen is home from Georgia, Geor-gia, and reports that her father is doing better. Sorry the column is short on news this week but we have been in Provo with grandson Wade Wiley, who has aneurysm on his brain. We are just waiting while they decide which is the safest way to take care of it. Thanks to everyone for their concern for Wade, as his phone in Provo never stopped ringing and everyone has been so concerned and has offered to help. Richard Bennett has moved to the Darlene Durbin house on the bench and is cooking at Ruby's Inn. At the Provo hospital, Eugene King had his two knees done and I watched while they had him up to try his new knees for the first time. See ANTIMONY on page 4-A) ANTIMONY From Page 2-A They had a machine that keeps them bending. Also next door to Wade is Merrill Brindley, who had a new hip and I met him in the hall as they were walking him. LaVar Roberts is also up on the fifth floor having problems with his heart. He is a son of Marrell and Vaugh-netta Vaugh-netta Roberts and was reared here in Antimony. Hopefully he will be . able to come home on Thursday. |
