Show Chili Bake Sale Set For Deer Hunt Weekend PANGUITCH Volunteers from all over the county will unite their skills in creating one huge Deer Hunters' Bake Sale Thursday and Friday, Oct. 19-20, from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m at the Welcome Market parking lot. The annual event, now in its sixth year, raises funds for World Hunger and for the Garfield Memorial Mem-orial Health Care Foundation. Pastor David Payne of New Beginning Baptist Church in Pan-guitch Pan-guitch and board members of the Foundation combine their efforts once again to spearhead the event which traditionally features steaming steam-ing bowls of chili readied for the annual deer hunt. For two days, hunters will be able to pick up cups, bowls, thermoses and whole bowls of chili as they depart for "them thar hills". Other specialty items will include in-clude candy, cookies, breads, rolls, sweet rolls, salsa and home canned jams, jellies and other favorites. The organizers stress that the home-canned home-canned items were among the best sellers at last year's sale and invite the county's kitchen experts to contribute some of their delicious specialties. Many volunteers have already been contacted to donate baked goods, but much more is needed to ready county's the hungry hunters for their annual outdoor adventure. In Panguitch, contact.
