Show Panguitch Hm By Mamie Talbot 801-676-8084 The wild flowers form lovely carpets over Cedar Mountain. The last two days of June were cold ones here in the valley. The nights brought ice under the irrigation irri-gation sprinklers and some frozen gardens. Wow! June 29 was Panguitch Third Ward conference under the direction direc-tion of Panguitch Stake officers. President Shannon Allen and Bishop Del Hulet were speakers on the subject of Family Home Evening. The Young Womens chorus sang. Rick Sawyer, Todd Breinholt and Paul Partridge were called to serve as the new Sunday School presidency. Visiting from California were George and Aleta Dodds with mom Rea Dodds. Ray and Donna Davies from the north spent time with brother Calvin and Marjorie Davies. Ryan Hatch brought a friend, Sonya Miles, from Dixie. Frank and Lola Barney Henrie's family was here for a reunion. Blanche Pendleton went to Reno with daughter JoAnn to the funeral of nephew Monte Pendleton, Pendle-ton, son of George and Golda Henrie Pendleton. Monte died of cancer. We are so sorry about him. Alan and Mickey Talbot and kids Adam, Shannon and Megan from Enoch brought flowers and candy to mom Mamie Talbot for an early birthday. Of course, there were the usual fixit jobs for Alan to do. Thank heaven for handy sons and daughters who can do this. Juanita Talbot spent ten days in Price with her daughter Mar-veline Mar-veline and family. Husband Jay went up to bring her home. Two farewell parties were held for Dennis Moser at the hospital, a surprise party by the employees and a goodby party by the long term care residents. Dennis has been at the hospital for 22 years, ever since the new hospital was built. He has accepted a new job as director of the Area Health Education Center at SUU. The Mosers will not be moving for a year so that daughter Emily can graduate from Panguitch High School. We remember when Dennis and LeeAnn first came to Panguitch. They lived for a time at KOA in a tent trailer. Dennis' musical ability has been appreciated appreci-ated by many people. Nice going, go-ing, Dennis. We will miss you and your family. We love you. The annual Ike LeFevre family fam-ily reunion was held June 25-29 at Yankee Meadow in Parowan Canyon. Present were Ike, Bill and RaeLynn Johnson, Curt and Melody and Scotty Johnson, Phil and Joni and Woody Brinkerhoff, Kris and LaRayne, Kenny, Amanda and Rebecca Lindsay, Jerry and Deanna, Jake and Jerrod LeFevre. They camped, ate and ate, 'and visited and had a good time. No storm this time. They can't wait for next year's reunion to do it all over again. Faye Worthen was so glad to haVe her eight-year-old great-granddaughter, great-granddaughter, Kira Nielsen, of Fredonia with her for 10 days. Gwen and Clark Frandsen, Jay and Dudley Proctor, and the Frandsen's son Steven and family spent some time vacationing at Flaming Gorge.
