Show P Antimony News By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Burns and Mona Black will attend at-tend the wedding of their grandson grand-son Russell, son of Rodney and Carol Black on May 16 at the new Mt. Timpanogas LDS Temple Tem-ple in American Fork. A large group from Antimony attended the Mormon Tabenacle Choir concert in Cedar City last Friday evening. Here visiting and helping the Hal Jensen's get the cattle ready for the range were Don and Eva Jane Green and family of Provo, Frank and Marlene Peterson of Salt Lake City, Patrick Jensen of Richfield and Erin Gould of Nephi. On Sunday afternoon they all took a tour of Bryce Canyon before going home. The Rockin' R is busy with tour buses. There was one on Wednesday from France with 30 people, one last week from Germany Ger-many that had 80 and another bus will be coming in this week. Most of these tours are from France or Germany. The Gregg Black family spent the weekend here with his parents, par-ents, the Burns Blacks. Van and Betty Wiley were in Provo and American Fork one day last week. Antimony Elementary School students went to Bryce Valley for a track meet on Thursday. Winston and Dorothy Stratton were here during the week checking check-ing on their summer home and getting it ready. On Tuesday, Ilene Blood took her parents to Richfield Carol Savage and his youngest son, Joe were here for a couple of days from Las Vegas. Trent Fox and two sons came to visit with the Bill Wileys for Bill's birthday on May 7. Ladd and Kim Brindley and two boys were here on Sunday. They brought a load of hay over from Cedar City for his grandparents, grandpar-ents, the Van Wileys. Mike Hansen is walking on crutches after undergoing foot surgery. The LDS Homemaking Releif Society evening was very well attended. All were given the opportunity op-portunity to buy planters for summer sum-mer and shown different ways to plant in them. |
