Show Antimony News By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Ted and Karma Jolley reported they enjoyed the trip up to the northwest with the Piute High School group. Brian and Sarmi Chrowther attended at-tended her brother's LDS missionary mission-ary farewell in Marysvale two weeks ago. New memberships in our LDS Ward presented last week were: Brian and Sharmi Chrowther and their children, Skyler and Katylen, also Melody Ann Miller. Jared Gleave and Chantry Brindley attended the wrestling clinic held at Piute High School. Dave Smith came to teach at the clinic. They camped out at City Creek Park overnight and came back down for more training the next day. Gannon Roberts was advanced from a Teacher to a Priest in LDS Sacrament meeting. Chace Brindley is home from Cedar City where he worked for Marcus Blood. He will attend the Sevier Valley Tech this fall going out in carpenter training. The LDS Young Men and Young Women from here and their advisors traveled to St. George one day last week to visit some of the old history making museum, courthouse, opera house, etc. School will start here on Monday Mon-day with 22 students and the teachers will be Bernice Jolley and Janette Dalton. Custodian and bus driver is Tim Westwood. Heidi Gardner and Marcus Blood have returned from Disneyland. Disney-land. Ann Martinez went to Boise, Ida. to bring her husband home as he is ill. He is doing much better and they will be home Friday. Ruth Wiley and Ray Pace will be married here in Antimony on Aug. 30. Everyone in Antimony is invited. It will be held on the patio at the Antimony Merc. Reba Gleave has been back in Panguitch helping her mother, Dellis LeFevre who is recovering from a knee replacement. Chuck and April Boole and children of Las Vegas will be here for the weekend with Chuck's mother, Marian VonKaenell. Gannon Roberts had the mi-fortune mi-fortune of breaking his arm on Wednesday evening. His mother took him to Cedar City after he was checked at the hospital in Panguitch. |
