Show Antimony News By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Darlene Durbin and Verlene Gleave were in Cedar City to attend the Utah Shakespearean Festival one day this week. Nancy Ford and son, Tyson of Las Vegas brought Chandra and Colton Smith of Minnesota here to visit with their grandmother, Beverly Ford for a week. They are children former resident Janet Ford. Several folks from Antimony will be going to Pine Lake over the weekend to attend the Gleave Reunion. Calvin and Barbara Gleave and family, also Chace and Chantry Brindley will be going. go-ing. Marcia and Toby Tobiasson picked up Marcia's daughter, Chantell in Cedar and toured Gunlock, Ivins, Vale etc. and came back to Cedar City to have dinner at a Mexican cafe. Reba and Ashley Gleave were at Pine Lake to attend the Claude Sudweeks family reunion. Rob Gleave and children are here visiting with his parents, the Calvin Gleaves. Marion Gleave and sons, Jesse and Preston visited a couple of days with her parents, the Ed Lazenbys in Payson. Robert Lavere Gleave of St. George, spent a night here with his parents, Marcus Gleaves. Former residents JoAnn Allen and family of Virginia, are here for two weeks visitine with her i i ii i J family, the Phil Aliens. Also here to visit with her sister have been Scott and Tracy Allen Peterson of Provo. Sally Young, daughter of the Bill Young's of St. George, and her son have been at the Burns Black's visiting before Sally's son leaves for his LDS mission. Kenneth and Kathy Riddle and family of Cedar City spent the 4th of July weekend at their trailer here in Antimony. Several of Jerry Savage's relatives rela-tives on his mother's side, the Browns, were here Sunday at LDS Sacrament meeting. They were staying at the Otter Creek Park. Janene Savage, Tracy and Jessica Savage, Tresa, Coby and Cory Robinson traveled to Payson on Sunday for the blessing of the Hernandez twins who were named JoAnn and Mary. Their parents, Ishmael and Trudy Hernandez, live here in Antimony and work up at Bryce Canyon National Park. The Wiley family reunion will be held this year on July 18,19 20 up the canyon from Springville at Kelly's Grove. Reservations have been made also for the Lions Pav-illion Pav-illion and group camping sites. Sites have power and water. Group site camping have already been paid so you will not need to make reservations. Bring your family histories, etc. |
